Ellen Makes Friends
Raccoons want the deal that dogs and cats have as house pets. Roger is late for his baseball game because the transfer he’s making of all their money to a secret off-shore bank—before he tells his wife Ellen he’s leaving her—is taking longer. It’s Saturday morning, just about the time raccoons and their lawyer break into their bedroom to hide out from the cops. The SWAT team arrives to free someone who must be hostage somewhere and threatens everyone with guns. Ellen gets a call from the lawyer in her bedroom, meets with the raccoons and realizes she needs new friends.

This play has not been produced. However it is based on the longer play Raccoon which has been performed by IT Productions in Brantford, Ontario (2026) and presented as a staged reading at Theatre Aurora, Aurora, Ontario (2026).
